Simple terms for a simple tool.

1. Acceptance

By using ImageFade, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. What the service is

ImageFade is a free, browser-based tool that adjusts image opacity, creates gradient fades, feathers edges and fades selected areas. It then exports PNG or WebP files. All processing happens on your device; there is no account and no cloud storage.

3. Your content

You keep all rights to the images you edit. Because the files never reach us, we do not claim any licence over them. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use and edit the images you open in the tool.

4. Acceptable use

Please do not use ImageFade to break the law, infringe someone else's rights, or misrepresent edited images in a way that is fraudulent. Do not attempt to disrupt the site or the hosting infrastructure.

5. No warranty

The tool is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not promise that exports will be error-free or suitable for every purpose. Browsers, canvas support and very large images can affect results. Always keep a copy of your original file.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, ImageFade is not liable for lost files, lost time, or indirect damages arising from use of the site. Because your images are never uploaded, we cannot recover them for you.

7. Changes to the service

Features may change, and free tools may be updated or retired. If these terms change, the date above will be updated.
